Lowe’s and Halligan are back in business.
The company said Monday it had resumed its production of the bags that came with their heavy-duty products.
The bags had been out of service for more than two weeks.
The companies said they would also be offering free repairs to those who purchased the tools without them.
They did not specify what the repair cost would be.
Lowes said in a statement it was committed to making sure its products are available for customers during the storm and would make any necessary changes to its inventory.
Halligan said it was “committed to the customer” and “completes all repairs to any toolbox that has been lost or damaged during the storms.”
The bags, which are used in the construction industry, are not normally used in winter storms.
