Posted September 19, 2018 11:10:31 Sonic Tools, which is owned by Microsoft, announced on Wednesday that it is launching a new toolbox with a new “Paint Edge” option.
The PaintEdge toolbox, which includes three different paint options, lets users paint a part of an object or building with paint, a brush, or other tools.
The toolbox also includes “painting tools” to add detail to the surfaces of objects.
Sonic Tools has been using the Paint Edge toolbox since May 2018.
The company announced on its blog that it plans to release a toolbox for other software to expand the toolbox’s functionality and bring more new options to users.
“Permanent paint can be created on almost any surface, from concrete to wood, metal to glass, plastic to glass,” the blog post said.
“It’s a new way to add color, depth, and dimension to a surface.
We’re bringing this toolbox to other platforms too, including the Windows 10 Creators Update.”
Sonic Tools said the PaintEdge feature is the latest addition to the company’s PaintEdgers platform.
The software maker said in a blog post in June that it was working with a number of “in-house” companies to add more options to PaintEdges.
“As we continue to add new paint options and add new tools, we’ll be making sure that PaintEdge has an even broader range of options for you to explore,” the company said.
